What Jane does and does not do
Jane handles online booking, charting, billing and reminders. It tracks how a new patient heard about you if you add that question to intake, but it does not send referral invites, give the friend an offer, or track rewards for the referrer.
How to add referrals to a Jane clinic
- Copy your Jane online booking link (or the link to a specific practitioner or treatment).
- Paste it into Clinvite as your booking link.
- Print the QR sign and place it at the front desk or in treatment rooms.
- Patients scan, send the invite, and the friend books through Jane like any other patient.
- When the friend comes in, the desk scans their visit pass, which records the referral.
Does it change anything in Jane?
No. Clinvite never writes into your Jane calendar or charts. The friend's booking happens in Jane, the referral tracking happens in Clinvite.

Common questions
Does Jane App have a referral program?
Jane does not include a patient refer-a-friend feature. Clinics add one with a separate tool that sends friends to the Jane booking link.
Will a referral tool mess with my Jane calendar?
Clinvite does not touch Jane. Friends book through your normal Jane link.
Can I track Jane referrals?
Yes. Each friend gets a visit pass. When your desk scans it, Clinvite records which patient referred them.
