Texts from Clinvite clinics
Last updated October 3, 2026
Private clinics use Clinvite to thank patients after a visit and to run their refer-a-friend program. Texts come from Clinvite's toll-free number and always name the clinic. This page shows exactly how people agree to them.
Who gets texts, and how they agree
- Patients, on the clinic's referral page. At the counter a patient scans the clinic's QR code and types their first name and mobile. The note under the mobile field says the clinic will text them a thank-you and when their reward is ready, that message and data rates may apply, and that they can reply STOP to opt out. Typing the number and tapping Continue is their agreement.

- Friends, with an unticked checkbox. A friend who receives a patient's invite claims the offer on the clinic's page. Texts are sent only if they tick the box: "Text me my pass, and up to 2 reminders before my gift runs out. Msg and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out." The box is never ticked for them.

- Patients at checkout, by asking. At the front desk, staff ask the patient whether the clinic can text them a thank-you before adding their mobile. Clinics confirm when they switch texts on that they only add patients who said yes.
The invite a patient sends to a friend is not sent by Clinvite. It goes from the patient's own phone, by iMessage, Messages or WhatsApp, to someone they know.
What people receive
- One thank-you text after a visit, with a link to leave a Google review or send a friend a gift. Never more than once in 30 days.
- A friend's visit pass, and at most two reminders before their offer ends. Reminders stop when they visit.
- A text when a patient's referral reward is ready.
- Occasional news from the clinic, at most one a week, only to people who opted in above.
Sample: "Hi Sarah, thanks for visiting Northside Wellness. Leave us a Google review, or send someone a gift: clinvite.ca/v/7kq2mx Reply STOP to opt out"
Stopping texts
Reply STOP to any text and texts stop at once. Every text page also has a one-tap stop link. Reply HELP for help. Texts are sent only between 9 am and 8 pm clinic time. Message and data rates may apply. Mobile numbers are never sold or shared, and are never used for anything except the clinic's own texts. See our privacy policy and terms.
